Design/Build is an alternative to the traditional Design-Bid-Build Construction Method. Where the Construction Cost or Budget is established only after the design has been completed. In the Design-Build approach preliminary designs are completed by the builders team and a Cost/Budget is determined prior to spending a huge amount of money on design and working drawings.
